Space Error (2018), is a 13-minute audio-visual extended play which reflects on the idea of Afrofuturism/surrealism – I use imagery from blaxploitation films and footage of African American experience, montages of psychedelic imagery to documentary and news footage. This work was produced to create narratives that mostly hold themes of idealized black understanding and sci-fi stories.  In other words, I’m creating music and scenarios and putting black people in situations nobody ever thought of, my aim is to part from the political, project and sonify the ethereal and sci-fi.
